The month of October was a busy one. My mom came to visit one weekend and we returned the favor and spent a week in Tennessee. We attended the Moutrie Family reunion, which is Dan's paternal grandmother for those wondering, and of course we had to visit a pumpkin patch. I could not tell you the last time I was at a pumpkin patch. That has been one of my favorite things about having Ava... going places I haven't been since childhood, reading books I haven't read since gradeschool, and explaining things as simple as a pumpkin to her as if it has so much importance. October was great and below you can see some proof!
There were so many people we didn't have much luck capturing Ava's attention for pictures.

Ava was a chicken for Halloween, a cute one I might add, and you can just see her excitement as we got her ready for "Fright Night".

The final product! Old Mcdonald would have been lucky to have this Chick!

First she gives that smile like
she knows she shouldn't. Then
it's in her mouth and her eyes
say "what, you had some?"

Too cute for words!
