Nature Girl

Well we finally got some nice weather. Ava loves to be outside although not totally steady on the grass she does her best to walk alone. You would think a sweet little girl would like to pick flowers and read a book in the shade of a tree, but Ava prefers to dig holes in the mulch and dirt, eat flowers, and pick the grass. She is still young so I guess there's hope.
Ava also enjoys wiping the dirt off of cars...she loves to see her fingerprints! This poses a problem in parking lots!!

This picture was taken just so we could show Ava how big mail boxes use to be.
A new place Ava enjoys hanging out is in the bathtub...this wouldn't be a new thing except it's not bath time. She just paces back and forth. This will end when she figures out how to turn on the water!!
Another fun change is Ava's hair is finally long enough to pull those bangs out of her eyes. Barrettes don't seem to stay but this seemed to work.
My little princess in her "princess" chair. It shouldn't be long before the pony tail doesn't stand straight up! I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. Was it Pebbles or Bam Bam??
All we need is the bone!
We have been frequenting the park and as you can see Ava's favorite part of this
park was a big rock.
Second favorite...the little rock!
We also took a trip last week to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Tennessee. The weather was warm and here Ava is cooling off after a red popsicle.
We visited a nearby park and here Ava is posing in the window of a helicopter.
Say hello to the new fire chief!
What better way to end a busy day than surrounded by people pushing you in a swing and taking one picture after another. I think if we would have left she would have fallen asleep.
As I promise on each post I will try to get better about posting more often. Something always seems to come up. I hope everyone is doing well and we'll be in touch!!
