This Easter was much more exciting for Ava than the last two years. She LOVED searching for eggs. We practiced inside first and the process of finding eggs to see what treasure they held was the highlight of the day. (She never realized she was finding the same 5 eggs over and over again) The searching continued outside, however once realizing the eggs outside were real and could not be opened the excitement wore off.
I will give Ava credit for not discriminating against what may have been a pretty ugly egg. She searched high and low...while saying "look high and low" over and over.
She may have had a little help, but she did find some eggs.
One other thing that took place outside was the flying of Ava's new kite. She liked seeing the kite in the air, but getting to hold it was fun too!
Once back inside we warmed up and spent the rest of the day playing with toys and visiting with family. With the exception of Ava suffering from a cold we had a great Easter.
