Christmas morning Ava tore into one gift after another....each time she asked "will you open it?" Then moved onto the next gift.
Ella took her time and enjoyed the paper just as Ava did on her first Christmas.
It didn't take long and the girls were in a sea of wrapping paper...I think this was Ella's favorite part of the whole day!
Here Ava is using her new doctor's kit to make sure I'm healthy!
Ella and Ashton hung out for a few moments...it was so cute....they immediately grabbed for each other's hands.
Later that weekend we ventured over to Grandma and Grandpa F's house for the second round of Christmas. I t didn't take long for Ava to notice more presents!
Ella again took her time enjoying the paper.
Ava quite often brings up the fact that she has big muscles and if you ask her who else has big muscles she says "Uncle Brad." This t-shirt sets the record straight.
Ava was also excited to start cooking in her new apron and hat. Here she is making some delicious rice
krispie treats. By the end of the day most of them had made their way to her stomach.
I did not take a ton of pictures over the holidays. Most of the time I was running around. Hopefully things slow down over the next month and I will be able to take more pictures and update more often! Hope you all have a wonderful 2010!!
Well as usual it has been awhile. The holidays use to mean rest and relaxation, but these days they mean craziness! Ella is still not sleeping which is another reason the blog has been neglected. We do finally have a reason for her sleeplessness...TEETH! The week before Christmas her two bottom teeth came in and the week after her two top teeth started coming in...the gums finally split open this morning....I have another long night ahead of me! Anyway, this year Christmas was fun since Ava is at an age now that she got really excited. As evident below there was no shortage of gifts. We started the holidays with Grandma and Grandpa C along with Aunt Linzy, Uncle Brian, and Cousin Ashton coming in town. Ava had a blast since there was no shortage of attention.
