Happy Easter everyone! We had a good Easter this year, especially Ava, who must really be on the Easter bunny's good side. We spent the day out at G-ma and G-pa F's house and got to spend some time outside enjoying the great weather!
I bet not everyone can say they got a "magic tarp" ride on Easter...but we did!
The girls loved it...I myself was a bit uncomfortable with the friction and bumps.
When Ava saw Dan get out the camera, she insisted on having her picture taken, so here she is smiling for the camera.
Ava and her cousin Katelyn got these little foam animals that grow in water. They couldn't wait to watch them grow...here they are hanging out in the bathtub. It took longer then expected, so the girls lost interest and left, ate dinner, played and then went back to the tub.

A day or two before Easter was another day with great weather so I decided to wash my car....Ava of course wanted to help.
She wouldn't open her eyes for a picture because the sun was too bright. Something else to point out was that she wouldn't let go of her capri pants even though there was only an inch of water in the bucket.
On a side note, I am getting ready to take my first vacation away from the girls. I have not left Ava for more than two nights since she was born and I haven't been away from Ella for more than a night. While it will be difficult, and I will constantly be thinking about them, I definitely need a break. I'm sure it won't hurt for them to have a break from me too. I love being at home with them and wouldn't change a thing, but it is exhausting! Stay tuned to see how the girls and I handle the break.
