Preschool

Yesterday was a big day around here. Ava had her first day of preschool! She had "school" last year, but it was a kids day out program rather than actual school. So this year it's the real deal...well, as real as preschool gets? Since last year's school year started and ended with tears, the I don't want mom to leave kind of tears, I was nervous about how this year would start. But, Ava surprised us and had her first day tear free!

Here she is getting ready to go into school. She was so proud of herself for not crying...when I went to pick her up she said "mom, aren't you proud of me I didn't cry under the table!". This statement may sound odd, but last year when it came time for me to leave, after being pryed off my leg, she would run over and crawl under a table and cry. This only lasted about 2 minutes then she was fine for the rest of the day. Hopefully, everyday goes like yesterday!!
