Well, we made it. Gavin is almost 5 months old and we are still surviving. He recently had his 4 month check up and over all he is in good health. He weighed in at 14 pounds 15 ounces (25%) and was 26.25 inches long (70%). His head was a whopping 17.76 inches (95%). While he has no major health/medical issues he still has some major sleep issues. We are, yet again, on a new formula...Neocate. I didn't even know this formulae existed before now and of course it is special order and expensive! However, at this point I will pay anything for more sleep!! Gavin has started rolling over from his stomach to his back, but refuses to roll from his back to stomach, even though he gets VERY frustrated. He has also started food. This is early compared to the girls, but we're hoping it helps him sleep. That leads me to the picture below. In true Gavin fashion, he has been very difficult to feed. We tried the car seat, bouncy seat, the bumbo and even being held, but he refused food/the spoon in every situation. I finally tried his favorite spot...the bathtub. And it worked great, for whatever reason he was willing to eat while in the water. If Gavin can find a way to make things difficult right now...he does it! He's so darn cute though, I forgive him!

"I'll eat the food here mom, but I don't have to like it!!"
We can't get the camera out without taking a picture of Ava...she jumps in as many
shots as she can.
In other news, Ella finally started an extracurricular activity...Dance. Although she continued to say she wasn't old enough for dance, having her potential class at the same day and time as Ava's class was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Here she is today ready for her first class!

I think it helped that Ava goes to dance and at the same time, but we still had to bribe her with candy and ice cream to get her in the door.

Once in the door she did great! She followed along with the moves and was laughing the whole time. She even gave the teachers a hug before leaving. I think she'll do great, we may have to stock up on candy and ice cream for awhile.
