Happy Easter!

Happy Easter 2013!  My original plan was to post pictures of a fun filled St. Patricks day, however, as I ended the last post with me feeling ill, I am starting this one the same way.  It has been a very long and very busy two months.  The kids and Dan did make it out to a parade for St. Patricks Day, but it was pretty cold and nasty and they didn't make it long.  I turned out to have a sinus infection and Bronchitis, which took a good two weeks to go away....just in time for Easter.  We made the annual trip over to G-ma and G-pa F's house to celebrate Easter.  Here is the whole gang just after the big egg hunt, minus G-pa F who volunteered to be the photographer.
As usual Ava took the egg hunt very seriously and raced around collecting as many eggs as possible.
Ella enjoys the egg hunt more each year, but still doesn't get the sense of urgency that the
older girls do.
This was Gavin's first hunt and as expected he'd grab eggs that happen to be out in front of him, but otherwise could care less.  He was just happy to be outside in the beautiful weather, although he doesn't look happy in this picture.
First thing in the morning the girls ran downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them and while they liked the candy and swimsuits, they loved their new bunnies!
I got the camera out to take a picture of their new bunnies and it quickly turned into a mini photo shoot.  I kept hearing "mom, take one like this!"
and "Mom, how about me and my bunny like this?!".
It wasn't long and they set the bunnies down so they could take center of the shot.
Ava with her super shades...
and Ella with her kissing face.
Ella's not usually one to just simply smile at the camera so I thought I would include
one more good one.
After a quick celebration with all the family we had to rush over to the airport and begin our long journey to North Carolina for what we hoped would be a week at the sunny beach ending with a wedding celebration.
Stay tuned...
