I think knowing that I was so far behind on the blog, I subconsciously avoided my camera through the holidays. I knew the more pictures I took the more work I was creating for myself. Therefore, I ended up with the fewest pictures I've taken since pre-kids! I have vowed to myself not to let that happen again.
This first picture resulted in some controversy. Due to my lack of picture taking throughout the year, I did not have many options for our Christmas card. I thought this picture would work, awe look at us decorate the tree together, how sweet, right (?), apparently not. Once the cards came in and I shared them with a few people, I found that no one could identify the "tallest kid" on the far right!? For those who are still thinking 'when did the Fritz's adopt an older child', it's ME people!! I am the "taller child" on the right. Also, my hair is pulled back in a clip. I would not put a strange child on our Christmas card! My apologies for all the confusion.
We started a new tradition this year. The week before the real Christmas my family came in town to celebrate an early Christmas. Linzy, Brian, Ashton, and London who had sadly moved back to Indiana in November made the trip, along with G-ma and G-pa C from TN. The kids were so excited to have their cousins around for three full days, including nights!
That was it for pictures the week before, and even on Christmas there isn't much to see. I got one of each kid before the gifts were handed out.
Ava...
Ella...
and Gavin (best he would give me)...
I also grabbed one on Christmas Eve after Santa came since it looked so pretty all lit up.
Sadly, that is it. I haven't gotten my camera out since, not even on New Years Eve. Of course, I'm regretting it now, but on the plus side I'm all caught up. Here's to starting a great, picture filled 2017!!
