Well over the last two weeks Ava has had plenty to keep her entertained. Her Grandma and Grandpa Carron came in town along with her Aunt Linzy, Uncle Brian, and cousin Elway. It was funny to see Ava interact with Elway...I think they were both confused by each other. Ava's not use to little dogs and Elway's not use to little people! Here they are studying each other!

We of course had to get in some Nemo time....there was only one person watching Nemo. Everyone else's attention was on....well...see for yourself.
We had some pretty hot weather so G-ma C and Ava spent some time swimming in Ava's luxurious pool...they stayed in the shallow end of course since Ava didn't have on her floaters.
The next day was even hotter and we had to try out Ava's other swimsuit
so we headed back to the pool!

The older Ava gets the more questions I seem to have. What can she do, what shouldn't she do, what is that rash, is she teething again, the list goes on and on. There is however no doubt in my mind that when I walk into the living room and find Ava like this at 9:30am that something is wrong. The child who has enough energy for herself, her mom, and her dad spent the whole day on Tuesday sleeping! Turns out she had "Hand Foot and Mouth." I don't know how she got it since it has been just us, but she did and it wasn't pretty! Tuesday and Wednesday were awful, but by Thursday she seemed to be better.

I knew Ava was doing better when she was back to one of her favorite activities....climbing all over mom and dad's bed.

Finally, I leave you with a concern I have about future pictures of Ava. We have been trying to teach Ava to smile for a picture...my concern is that when we say "smile Ava" this is what we get in return. Think about all the beautiful school pictures to come!
