In my last post I mentioned we got Ava a ridiculously large ball pit. Some people have questioned us as to how Ava gets in and out of the pit....below I have her getting in the pit step by step.

I am known by family and friends as having a bit of a purse/bag fetish. My latest purchase was a large bag for us to take to the pool and/or beach. I had no idea it would also be a fun hangout for Ava.
Now I feel the need to explain the next few pictures. First, please ignore the hair do...Ava just woke up from a nap. This is a picture of Ava and her new potty and if you look closely you can see some "liquid" in the potty! Some may say it's a little early for Ava to be potty trained and I have no idea what I am doing with this potty training thing. However, when Ava started waking up in the morning or after naps and her diaper was dry I would say "do you have to go potty?" and she would run to the bathroom and go in her diaper or she would point to her diaper and laugh. So I thought why not try? I do not think she will master this any time soon, and I thought it would probably be awhile before she would even use the potty at all. Boy, did she prove me wrong. Grandma C bought the potty this morning and Ava thought it was a new toy. After her nap this afternoon her diaper was dry so I asked "do you have to go potty?" and she ran to the bathroom. I put her on the potty and within 5 seconds she did it!! I couldn't believe it....you would have thought I won the lottery! I don't think she has any idea what she did, but it's a start...right?? So below is Ava and her first"dirty" potty.
This is pround Ava pointing to the sticker she got for going potty. Hopefully, the lid will be covered with stickers by the end of the week! I'll keep you updated. Is it crazy that I want to share this with everyone I come in contact with?
We are such proud parents!
