We had a very trying month of November, and therefore, we have many reasons to be thankful. I am thankful my parents were able to come in town thanksgiving weekend and finish nursing me and the girls back to health. We were also thankful for the warm Saturday so we could get some fresh air.
We are thankful the frying of the turkey at Grandma and Grandpa F's house went off without a hitch...as you can see some precautions were taken.
I am not one to leave a job half done....so I am thankful it stayed somewhat warm so I could finish painting part of the house...in the dark...I don't recommend it!
Ava was thankful she got to help decorate the tree this year. I was thankful nothing got broken.
She was VERY careful. She had also just woken up from her nap so please excuse the hair.
I think Ella was thankful she was awake to see the tree go up.
Prior to this past weekend I don't have much to share. As I mentioned November wasn't a pleasant month. It started with Ava getting diarrhea, a week later Ella had it along with awful diaper rash! Next, Ava got the dreaded H1N1 and I got Bronchitis. Finally, we ended the month with Ella getting a horrible cold. It was a long month, but we are now thankful for our health! Before the germs got us we did have a few moments of joy. Ava went to a b-day party for her friend Sydney. It was a "Fancy Nancy" party, so everyone had to wear their fanciest ensemble. Here is Ava right before the party.
Sydney got a trunk of dress-up clothes as a gift and it took maybe two minutes before Ava and Sydney were in costume.
Somthing new at our house is joint baths. It is still a little challenging since Ella doesn't sit up on her own yet. However, as long as Dad is there as my wingman the girls can swim together.
Ella has been on the move lately...as soon as I leave a room she takes off rolling to the other side. This time I found her under the wagon.
To give you an idea of her speed...I was gone for about 30 seconds and she started out on the blanket! She is also SO close to crawling...she gets up on her knees and starts rocking, but usually follows it with a face plant into the floor.
