6 Months

I'm on a roll today so I thought I would catch up on one more update. Ella has recently turned 6 months old. While on one hand I can't believe it's been 6 months, on the other hand it seems like forever since I've had some sleep. Ella is growing by leaps and bounds! She recently had her doctor's appt. where we found that she now weighs 17 pounds(70%) which is down a little, and she is 27.25in long(90+%). We attribute her lack of weight gain to the fact that she does not stop moving! She is SO close to crawling...getting up on all fours and rocking....for now she just "army" crawls all over the place! She also now has her two bottom teeth and one top one broke through the gums today. So much teething in such a short time has left our baby a little restless....she has a hard time sleeping and her cheeks are always red from slobber. Other than the sleeping issue Ella is a great baby who loves to be wherever her big sister is. Right now Ella's favorite thing is bouncing in her Jump-a-roo...she could jump for hours if we let her. I hope to get a video soon so you all can share in her joy. I chose this picture to post because we also have a picture of Ava in this bug when she was 6 months. Everyone asks if Ella and Ava look alike and it is so hard to remember. Now everyone can judge for themselves. What do you think??
