We did it....we got through 6 months of reflux, sleepless nights, milk allergies, teething etc. Gavin has been anything but an easy baby, but now is supposedly when it will get easier. We had Gavin's 6 month checkup and he is now 16lb. 8oz. (30%) and 26.5in. long (45%) and his head is in the 95%. His body definitely needs to catch up to his head. I tried numerous times over the last two weeks to get a good picture of Gavin smiling, and while he'll smile very easily, as soon as the camera is covering my face he gets serious. He is finally sleeping better, but he still has some bad nights. Our latest issue is teeth. He has decided, among all his other issues, to add teething to the list. He now has four teeth and two more on the way. The girls waited till around 6 months to even begin getting their first tooth, but Gavin started at 4 months. I'm hoping we are getting all of the issues out of the way now, so by summer we are all happy all the time!! (Wishful thinking, I know) All things considered, Gavin is a good baby. He loves to smile and be talked to. He loves his food, we've already tried all the baby food, and he loves to watch his sisters no matter what they are doing. He does however, HATE to be alone!!! He will be contently playing on the floor or in his exersaucer, but the second you even stand up or turn your back to walk away he starts screaming! Not just whining, but full blown screaming! I'm hoping once he can move around on his own and follow you, the screaming will stop. (wishful thinking, again) He is rolling all over but can't usually plan out where he wants to go and get there. Only time will tell, he will either be the best toddler ever, since we've had so many issues. Or he will continue to be a high maintenance toddler, then child, then teen, and so on. In that case, Lord help us!
