Practice makes perfect...but not yet!

I know I just posted something the other day, but I had to add this story because it's one that needs to be remembered.  When I went to pick Ava up from school today her teacher came over to me and said "you have a little Casanova on your hands".  I wasn't sure what she was talking about and then she continued.."Ava was kissing some of the boys on the lips today at recess.  It started with saying good-bye to a little boy moving back to Peru, but continued with another boy at recess.  I had a talk with her, and while she's not in any trouble I thought you may want to talk to her too, we can't have that going on".  My jaw was on the ground!!!  I was shocked, embarrassed, mortified and did I say shocked!!!  I never saw this coming and it's so far out of Ava's character.  Anyway, when we got home Ava, Ella and I had a long talk about who it's OK to kiss, and who it's NEVER OK to kiss.  The talk went well and as I expected it eventually got to Ella making comments like.."and you should never kiss a door", "and you should never kiss a butt".  Once Ella was occupied, since I didn't want her getting any ideas, I asked Ava who and why she kissed him and her response was shocking too..."I just wanted to practice mom, for when I get married".   I can only attribute this craziness to the fact that all of her favorite movies end with a princess sealing her marriage to her prince with a kiss.  Cinderella, Princess and the Frog, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast etc....I think maybe they should switch those ending to a hug or a nice firm handshake.  I did my best to explain she has plenty of time to practice years from now.  I told her to wait till college to practice.  Needless to say, I have a whole new set of worries I didn't think I'd have to address till junior high...at the earliest!!!
