Ava's Birthday Weekend!!

I know I say this every year, but I can't believe Ava is another year older!! Officially out of the toddler years, I haven't ever seen clothes in 6T?  Although she seems to possess more estrogen now and with estrogen comes hormones and drama, she is still an amazing little girl!  She loves to read, dance, and do as many cartwheels in a day that she can fit in.  She is caring and thoughtful and hates to see someone left out.  She also gets frustrated quite easily especially when learning new things at school, so we are working on using our patience to keep trying rather than yelling "I can't do it" and giving up!  She loves her sister and brother and is a great playmate!  She still prefers the color pink over all others.  She loves the song "All the Single Ladies" by Beyonce.  She would eat pasta with alfredo sauce every meal if I let her.  And she ALWAYS has room for sweets!!  Speaking of sweets, Ava opted for a birthday party at her favorite place, Sweet and Sassy Salon, in West County Mall.  Ava was blessed by Mother Nature this year and got a four day weekend for her birthday.  On Friday, her actual birthday, we started the morning with a little hair primping.  Another love of Ava's is having curly hair.

That afternoon Grandma C wanted to take Ava on a special trip to where else....The American Doll Store.  Within two minutes of being there Ava had her heart set on Saige, the 2013 Doll of the Year.  Here is a picture of her and Saige in Saige's hot air balloon.  The store is crazy overwhelming and we are definitely starting something!! (The next few pictures aren't the greatest quality since they were taken with my phone)

We thought we would be picking out a doll that looked like Ava, but once she heard about Saige's story, particularly her dog and horse, Ava's mind was made up.  Thank you Grandma C!

After we had our new family member we headed over to the cheesecake factory for dinner with Daddy, Aunt Linzy, Ashton and London.

Even the Cheesecake Factory carries the highchairs for the dolls, Ava was pretty excited.

We ended the evening with dessert and birthday wish #1.

On Saturday after going to the dentist, which I know is not an ideal place for your birthday weekend, we headed over to Sweet and Sassy for a big party with all her friends.  The first order of business was a costume change and hair do.

Although she's a little young, Ella got in on the fun.

After hair came nails...

and fairy make up.

Of the parties that Sweet and Sassy offers, Ava chose to do a magical fairy party.

Do to the size of her party, the girls had some time to kill while all the girls got finished with their makeovers.  Here she is goofing around with some friends.

Ella wasn't much for goofing around with the big girls, she preferred checking herself out in the mirror.

This is what 21 little girls look like backstage before a fairy fashion show.

Here are all 21 little fairies, complete with wings and all.

My two favorite little fairies...

On the first day of kindergarten Ava took her seat across from a another girl named Katie, ever since that first day Ava and Katie spend pretty much all their time together.

Here we are all crammed into a tiny little room for cupcakes.

Ava was trying pretty hard to contain to contain her excitement while everyone sang to her.

And as fast as it started the party was ending with wish #2.
(Didn't notice the flame until I was going through the pics, there was a lot of hairspray in that room)

After her amazing friend party we headed back home to a house full of family members ready to celebrate.  Ava got to have all the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins there to wish her a happy birthday!  She was SO excited!!

After what seemed like a never ending birthday party it was finally coming to an end with wish #3.

Ava was in heaven all weekend and was so thankful for everything her friends and family did for her.  She is not the greatest at saying so, but she repeatedly told/tells me she was/is so happy and loves everyone so much!  Thank you to all who helped celebrate with us, this birthday is going down in the history books and will be a hard one to top!!
