Last week we attended the annual Preschool Spring Program. (Our last one for a year!) Ella was very excited and got way more animated this year than in years past. I still cannot get videos to download successfully and the video is 12 minutes long…a bit much for the blog.
This was the only decent picture I got since I spent most of the time video recording. Ella wants to wear nothing but skirts and dresses, but as you can see that causes a problem. Whenever Ella is nervous she likes to play with the bottom of the skirt/dress. I was prepared at the program and made her wear shorts under the dress!!
There were cookies and refreshments after the great performance…Gavin's favorite part. That and chasing all the older girls around…He will love having two older sisters as he gets older!

Speaking of our "graceful" soon to be kindergartner….
Ella took on the screen door a few weeks ago and Ella won! In her defense it was dark outside and we were on the deck, I told her to go inside and brush her teeth and she RAN right into the screen door. She even bounced back about three feet…it wasn't until later we discovered the massive hole.
In other news Gavin tried very hard over the last month to give up naps. The girls were both around two and a half when they gave them up so this didn't come as a surprise to me. However, the girls did not do as much "passing out" as Gavin did. He fell asleep during movies, in the car, on the floor or even on my lap while at dance or gymnastics! After the "passing out" became more frequent and his mood became more and more irritable I had to reinstate nap time. I'm happy to report Gavin has been back to a regular nap schedule and his mood, while still stubborn and crazy, is a little less irritable.
We are now so close to summer we can taste it, I think it's something like 16 days of school left! Bring on summer!!
