Green Belt!

On the last weekend of February Gavin had another TaeKwonDo milestone.  He was tested to earn his green belt.  He likes TKD, but I think he LOVES earning new belts.  This is Gavin and his friend Jacob practicing some ninja moves.

This time around in addition to some of the rules, tenants, and Korean numbers, he also had to show the fighting stance, block hits, and do some punching himself.

And finally the whole group of graduates.  Gavin is already counting down the days to the blue belt test…7 weeks to go.  Way to go Gavin!!

While Gavin was super excited about his belt test he was bummed that he would be missing London's superhero birthday party.  Linzy went all out with props, photo stations, laser maze, and a bomb diffusing station just to name a few.  She's setting the bar higher and higher these days!!

The girls had so much fun, and while Gavin wasn't there while the main party that took place, he got to come shortly there after and enjoy all that the party had to offer.  Every super hero has to workout to build those big muscles.

I think this was as close as Ava will ever get to her dream of being able to fly.

I think Ava was the oldest there by at least two and a half years, but I think she played with the props more than anyone else!

I heard "Mom, take a picture" "Mom, take another picture" "Mom, take another picture" until it was time to go…that's a long time!

It was a busy weekend.  Happy Birthday to London Drue and Congratulations to our Green Belt!!
