Fireworks and Waterworks

There is something about water that fascinates Ava. The more wet she gets the happier she is and if it gets in her face it's even better. I know this is not true for all kids, so maybe with her love of water and fish this is the beginning of a long career as a marine biologist?? I have no pictures of fireworks because we didn't set any off, as you may have heard I am a mean old lady who doesn't like fireworks. There is a reason why I don't like fireworks but it is a long story and I won't bore you. Instead we introduced Ava to the sprinkler! There are a lot of pictures, but believe me when I tell you I cut it down drastically! Below is my wet baby showing off her ladylike smile.
Whether in a pool, bathtub, or sprinkler Ava insists on trying the water. I do try to stop her in the bathtub, it's disgusting.
I would love to sneak in her little head sometimes and see what she's thinking. Here I would guess it's "what can I get into next?"
This is that pure joy and excitement that water seems to bring.
The hose was also a big hit, but I think she preferred if one of us held it. Then it allowed for both hands to be free.
In one of my past blogs I mentioned that my new hobby was photography. I got the camera and now I have the software to do some pretty neat stuff. I'm still learning but this is one of my recent edits.
Every once in awhile I have to stop and just look at how much Ava has grown but how tiny she still is....too cute.
Ava also got to take her first ride on a four wheeler. Her and Dad went out in search of bunnies and birds...I could hear her cheering from the house. And yes she is wearing just a diaper...a little hoosier....but cute, plus she loves it!
