If you live in St. Louis it's been hard not to notice the summer like temperatures. One day we are in the 60's and a few days later we're in the 80's even 90's! The girls have been loving all the opportunities to play outside. The girls have also begun wrestling with each other. I thought having girls would mean I could avoid wrestling injuries, but apparently not. It's all fun and games for about 3-5 minutes before someone is crying.

Gavin loves watching the wrestling and is usually laughing at his sisters, I think it's gonna be a different story once Gavin joins in the fun.
Gavin still has plenty of issues. The poor boy cannot catch a break. We finally got the food and reflux issues under control, but every week another tooth seems to be popping up. He has 7 teeth so far with the eighth on its way. So he has plenty of moments when he is unhappy and frustrated, the face below is a very common expression of his.

What keeps me going is when the grumpy face is followed with a smile...
On one of the 90 degree days the girls got to play in the hose. Ella was a little nervous about being sprayed with the hose, but was really excited about making footprints and hand prints.
Eventually she warmed up and was willing to CAREFULLY walk through the water.

Ella then held the hose for our little performer. Ava continues to be somewhat shy at school or in front of people she doesn't know, but at home she is constantly on "stage".

Ella also loves to perform, but only for a very select audience. However, if her big sister is standing by her side they will perform anything together!

Hopefully the nice weather continues for Easter!!
