As usual I have to go back a few weeks. On December 17th Ella had her school Christmas program. After her teacher asked Ella to play the star in the Christmas play and Ella declined (teacher even asked me if thought she would change her mind) she was given the part of one of the angels. I asked Ella why she wouldn't want to play the star and she said that she didn't want everyone staring at her. She can be quite the little performer as long as she doesn't think anyone is watching.
She did make a beautiful angel and did a great job. There was even a section of the play when the angels sang and danced, literally.
As the play went on I realized the role of the star. You can see the star in the back of the "barn". I am guessing wearing a giant star costume played a big role in Ella's decision to pass on playing that part. LOL Ella is the tiny little angel all the way too the left.
Crazy costume or not she is quite a star in our eyes!
