When I was younger I, as most kids, would love nothing more than a snow day during those long winter months. I'm not sure if it's because snow days now involve more work than play for me, but I feel like my kids get way more than I got.
Sometime a week or two before Ava's birthday the kids got their wish. We got about 3-4 inches of snow over night and they were in heaven.
I know it's a sad little snowman, but since Ava had to wear MY boots to play in the snow I couldn't get out there and help. Yes, my 9 year old and I are only a half size away from each other in shoe size.
They hope for many more snow days, I'm thinking we're good with just the one.
What's this you ask? That would be my super intelligent 4 year old who thought his legs were stuck under the pull out shelf. I showed him how to push the self in and free his legs, but he thought it was much more fun to lay under the shelf. I can't help but worry sometimes about this one.
More to come...
