Ella's First Communion

 We celebrated Ella's First Communion on the first Saturday in May.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day.  All the little ones did a great job.

This was a plate Ella got to make at one of the many stations during the "activity" day the second graders partook in to prepare them for their first communion.

I love that little face!  She made a beautiful communicant, cast and all.

Little Miss Fiona came to the church with us to help celebrate.  She did a fantastic job through the rather long service.

The following Monday all the second graders got the day off from school.  All the girls decided to go painting together.  Ella didn't do half bad.

To continue with more about Ella...A few days later her class got to go on a field trip to the Zoo.  The boys were there too, but I just got a picture of the girls.

And finally, the Friday before school got out Ella finally got her cast off.  She was beyond thrilled!
